Chagall's early paintings are dominated by themes of childhood, family, death, deeply personal and at the same time eternal motives ("Saturday", 1910). Over time, the theme of passionate love comes to the fore ("Over the City", 1914-1918; "Gates of the Jewish Cemetery", 1917). Sharp deformations and unreal-fabulous color contrasts of canvases created by Chagall ("Me and the Village", 1911; "Self-portrait with Seven Fingers", 1911-1912), had a great influence on the development of surrealism. In Moscow, the artist made a number of large wall panels for the Jewish Chamber Theater (1920-1922). Since 1923, Chagall settled in Paris; in the same year, a book of his memoirs "My Life" was published in Berlin. In 1933, the Nazis who came to power in Germany publicly burned the artist's paintings. In 1937, the artist took French citizenship. As he reaches the peak of fame, Chagall's manner becomes easier and more relaxed. Through the recurring themes of Vitebsk childhood and love, gloomy echoes of former and future world catastrophes float ("Time has No Shores", 1930— 1939). Since 1955, work began on the "Chagall Bible". In line with this cycle, the master also created a large number of monumental sketches, compositions based on which decorated buildings of different religious denominations. These works, together with secular decorative compositions (murals of the ceiling of the Paris Opera, 1964, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, 1965, etc.) updated the language of monumental art.

When the deception was revealed, Joseph was very unhappy. However, after hearing the boys perform the songs, he changed his mind. The teenagers' singing was so professional that in 1964 a musical team appeared. The "family" band, which was named The Jackson Brothers, included three older brothers, Tito, Jermaine and Jackie Jackson. In addition, the band had two guest amateur musicians, guitarist Reynold Jones and Milford Hite. A year later, it was decided to add Marlon and Michael's younger children to the project. Joseph led the rehearsal process, working out not only the sound, but also the dance part, as well as thinking over the details of the stage images. He also became the project manager. Later, in 1966, when the family quintet gained popularity, the group's mentor Shirley Cartman suggested renaming it The Jackson 5.

It includes 36 color photographs by famous Soviet photographers K. Neubert and T. Bakman, who captured the architectural sights and everyday life of the capital of the USSR. The authentic autographs of two legendary space explorers, left on the album pages, give special value to this copy. Vladimir Komarov's autograph on the album pages is dated March 17, 1965— two years before the tragic death of the cosmonaut during the Soyuz-1 test. The album is accompanied by original photographs of astronauts taken at the Baikonur cosmodrome in the early 1960s.

"Reflections on ancient medals and engravings, mostly Roman" is the first and legendary edition by Antoine Le Pois, published after the author's death with his portrait and dedication of the author's brother Nicholas to the Duke of Lorraine, whose personal physician was Antoine. The memorial nature of the publication and the high status of the scientist and his family provided virtually unlimited opportunities for the preparation and printing of the book. 48 engravings made on wooden boards were made especially for the publication. In addition to the portrait of Antoine, individual engravings with images of Mercury, Priapus, Pomon and hermaphrodite, the publication included 23 explanatory engravings in the text, and after the text 20 separate sheets with 160 Roman medals, Gnostic emblems, symbols and monograms were given. Shchukin was alerted by the words of the critic and decided to refuse to take the paintings, but two days later he sent Matisse a telegram acknowledging his weakness and asking him to send the works.

The first meeting between Grigory Rasputin and the tsar took place on November 1, 1905, thanks to the rector of the Theological Academy, Father Feofan, who was honored by the Grand Dukes, Nicholas and Peter, and their wives, Stan and Militsa. This event was recorded by Nikolai Romanov himself in his diary: "... At 4 o'clock we went to Sergeevka. We had tea with the Police and Stana. We got acquainted with the man of God, Gregory from Tobolsk province..." So, Gregory entered the royal house and became one of the main figures of the Russian imperial court.
