Damien Hirst is a British assemblage artist, conceptual painter, whose deliberately provocative art addresses vanity and beauty, death and rebirth, medicine, technology and mortality. In 1995, he received the British Turner Prize, the UK's top award in the field of contemporary art.
The Stargift collection features Damien Hirst's lithograph "The Last Supper" with an autograph. The lithograph is included in the cycle of the exhibition "New Religion". The idea of the exhibition is to transform science into a new religion. According to Hearst, science is like religion in that it gives hope for a good end.
The work was demonstrated in 2005 at the Triumph Gallery exhibition in Moscow, and is currently represented in the catalog of the Paul Stolper Gallery (London).
