Stargift A drumstick from the personal collection of Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward A drumstick from the personal collection of Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward The drumstick that Bill Ward used on stage during Black Sabbath's concert performance at the Apollo Theater during the band's world tour in Manchester, England, on May 22, 1978. Bill Ward is one of the founders and bass guitarist of the British rock band Black Sabbath. He is a key figure in the history of heavy rock and metal, having played an important role in shaping the sound and style of the band. Ward was also actively involved in the creative process, writing songs with other band members. His musical achievements and contribution to the development of rock music cannot be overestimated. Interestingly, in 1969 the band performed at the Star-Club. The place is famous for the fact that it has become a "bridge of popularity" for the musical group The Beatles. Thus, the club connected two iconic rock bands. Drummer Bill Ward recalled the experience as follows: "Star Club was dark, gloomy. There were no facilities for the group. The group was basically the least significant people there. When we played there, most people showed no interest in the band. Nevertheless, it was a great training camp. We played eight concerts a night."

Winner of six Grammy Awards, including in such nominations as Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. If a rock music fan in the 1970s saw a poster with the inscription "Rocket Man meets Piano Man" ("Astronaut meets Pianist"), it was clear to him that we were talking about a joint concert by Elton John and Billy Joel. The fact that both of these characters were pianists did not confuse anyone, because they got their nicknames not because of their commitment to the instrument, but because of hits with the same names.

Stargift An autographed photo of the artist Billy Joel An autographed photo of the artist Billy Joel Billy Joel was born into a poor Jewish family, his father, an electric company worker, was not indifferent to high art. Therefore, the boy grew up listening to the sounds of classics, which his father loved to play on the piano, and soon he began to beat the black and white keys with his small hands. Even at the time of his passion for rock and roll, Billy did not change his favorite instrument - for example, in his first band there were no guitars at all. His professional career as a musician began in the early 1970s and began extremely unsuccessfully. The company "Fanily records", with which he signed a contract to release 10 albums, did not care about his ward. Joel's first album of 1971 was inadvertently recorded at an accelerated pace, so they did not even promote it. Realizing his mistake, the musician found a radical way out: he simply fled from New York to the other side of America - to Los Angeles. The problem of "daily bread" arose quite quickly. Joel, of course, could not shine under his last name, so he took the pseudonym Billy Nelson and got a job in a bar as a taper. It was then that he composed his watershed hit, so-called "Piano Man" ("The Pianist"). There he spoke in detail about his work at the bar and about the local environment. There was enough real material, so I didn't have to invent almost anything. Billy Joel: "John was the owner of the bar, and Paul was his real estate agent who wanted to write a great American novel, and Davey was a guy who served in the Navy… Even the girl in the song was my first wife. She also worked there as a waitress."

Stargift An autographed photo of singer Gloria Gaynor An autographed photo of singer Gloria Gaynor The famous American singer has gone down in history as an integral part of the golden legacy of disco. Gloria Gaynor's song "I will survive" not only topped the Billboard list, it became a true anthem of female emancipation. Although the legend has not been seen on stage for a long time, her work still delights and motivates young performers. Gloria Gaynor recorded the main song in her career in 1978. While preparing to record a new album, she was asked to perform the famous hit Substitute in the UK at that time. Producer Freddie Perrin was invited to record, who agreed to work on the condition that Gloria would record his song for the back of the record. The author of the text, Dino Fekaris, forgot the sheet with the text that day and wrote it down from memory on some old envelope. After reading the lyrics, Gloria Gaynor realized that the song would become a real hit. That was "I will survive". Once in the hands of DJs, the song blew up the dance floors.

Dunaevsky's works are distinguished by a developed melodic course and harmonic language and, despite their apparent lightness, require high vocal skills and large vocal resources from the singer.

Stargift Autographed card of singers: Michael Jackson, Marlon Jackson, Tito Jackson, Jackie Jackson Autographed card of singers: Michael Jackson, Marlon Jackson, Tito Jackson, Jackie Jackson The Jackson 5 is a band from the small American town of Gary, which in a few years managed to become a phenomenal phenomenon in the music of the 1970s. Stylish melodies that combined elements of disco, funk, soul and other genres, young dancing vocalists in bright costumes attracted an army of fans. And, of course, the main role in the project was played by young Michael Jackson, the future pop king. The father of the Jackson family, Joseph, played in the band The Falcons in his youth, but he did not manage to gain much fame. Later, already being a family man, the man did not give up interest in music, engaged in singing with his sons. My father had a guitar, and when he went to work, the brothers secretly took the instrument from the closet and learned to pick up popular melodies on it at that time. When the deception was revealed, Joseph was very unhappy. However, after hearing the boys perform the songs, he changed his mind. The teenagers' singing was so professional that in 1964 a musical team appeared. The "family" band, which was named The Jackson Brothers, included three older brothers, Tito, Jermaine and Jackie Jackson. In addition, the band had two guest amateur musicians, guitarist Reynold Jones and Milford Hite. A year later, it was decided to add Marlon and Michael's younger children to the project. Joseph led the rehearsal process, working out not only the sound, but also the dance part, as well as thinking over the details of the stage images. He also became the project manager. Later, in 1966, when the family quintet gained popularity, the group's mentor Shirley Cartman suggested renaming it The Jackson 5.

Stargift A drum with Moby's autograph A drum with Moby's autograph Moby is an American performer, composer, producer, and DJ. The pseudonym of the musician Moby is associated by many with the novel "Moby Dick" by Herman Melville. The similarity of the names of the writer and the musician is not a coincidence, Moby is indeed a distant relative of the classic. It is impossible to determine in which particular genre a musician works. All his life he has been thrown from electronics to pop music, from rock to punk. Before Moby appeared on the music scene, DJs did not assemble huge stadiums. With his work, he has forever changed the attitude towards electronic music. In the late 80s, Moby found himself in the world club capital of that time - in New York. He quickly fell in love with new dance and house music, new genres, trends and stars. New York was the perfect place to achieve global popularity. From here, the debut work "Go!" began to conquer Europe. The single was used as the soundtrack to "Twin Peaks", and the original Moby was recognized all over the world. Beckett - AA42616 Certificate
