"I kiss you hard, your father!
P. Stolypin, 1903."

Pyotr Stolypin was an outstanding reformer and statesman of the Russian Empire, who led key political transformations at the beginning of the 20th century. Stolypin strove for stability and modernization of the country and became known for his agrarian reforms and struggle against revolutionary movements.

Pyotr Stolypin was known not only for his government work, but also for his deep respect for traditional Russian values. In family letters and notes, he often expressed affection for his loved ones, emphasizing the importance of family as the foundation of society. The year 1903, when this note was written, was the time when Stolypin began actively preparing the ground for future reforms, developing his managerial principles as governor of the Grodno province.

The note is written on a sheet of a pre-revolutionary notebook, in the corner of which one of the angels from the bottom of Raphael's famous painting "Sistine Madonna" is depicted. This image, known for its thoughtful and dreamy pose, became one of the most recognizable motifs in the history of art and was often reproduced in various decorative publications of the time.
