Moby is an American performer, composer, producer, and DJ.

The pseudonym of the musician Moby is associated by many with the novel "Moby Dick" by Herman Melville. The similarity of the names of the writer and the musician is not a coincidence, Moby is indeed a distant relative of the classic.
