This collection is based on the eternal irreconcilable confrontation between realistic painting and the avant-garde. I am convinced that such a concept makes it possible to bring visual art to a new stage and to breathe new standards and opportunities into it. I believe that art is an important element in the lives of not only artists, but all people. However, the following trend has emerged in the modern world: since the first quarter of the twentieth century, artists have stated that the classical school of realism has outlived itself; this provoked the emergence of a huge number of different trends and trends, which at first caused euphoria among art lovers, but later the departure from fine art frightened ordinary connoisseurs, and art became understandable only to a narrow a circle of professionals. It acquired the status of an elite one, however, at the same time, it lost a mass audience. I think many artists are now concerned about the current situation and are looking for a solution to this problem. By joining them, I declare that one of the main tasks of our time is to popularize art and involve as many people as possible in the creative process, even without special art education. After all, the main problem of modern society is that it is desensitized. That is why, first of all, I share my feelings, ideas and revelations with the audience. I preach feelings and talk about how multifaceted they are and their diversity is simply limitless. They are quite easy to convey through color symbols, conceptual painting, and this can be understood by almost any viewer. Therefore, each of my works is a parable, it has its own story and it tells it. Very often these are stories about how our emotional world is filled with feelings that we don't notice, and also that we always have the right to choose and we are responsible for it, because it entails changes in our lives. My goal is to talk about big and complex things through small and simple things, and create interesting, understandable art. At the same time, I try to reflect the problems of the modern world in my works and often attach annotations to my paintings in order to make the dialogue between the viewer and the artist even more accessible. Amber is not just a material, but a frozen sun, the age—old breath of the Baltic Sea, preserving the whispers of prehistoric forests. It serves here not as decoration, but as a language — the language of light, warmth, and truth. Depending on the angle of view and lighting, the cup changes its mood: from solemn to peaceful, from radiant to thoughtful — like a living organism reflecting the inner state of the observer. This cup is not an item. It's a metaphor. It is a symbol of the fact that even in difficult times, there remains something incorruptible inside us, capable of uplifting, inspiring, and igniting others. It is not given as a gift — it is given as a recognition of the path.

My eyes flashed! And in my life, my full namesake Tatyana Polyakova, the artist of "Russian Gems", who painted my herbarium from memory, also appeared. I also checked the slope of the stems, and the shades, and the proportions according to those Tver happy childhood memories. And, as it turned out, the best, free, beautiful, fragrant and precious memories of a lifetime. In the summer of 2020, my mother left, who taught me to potted non-wilting flowers that were transplanted into gardens and lawns.
