He is best known as the first drummer of the band Guns N’ Roses. He currently performs in his own band \"Adler's Appetite\".<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Adler realized at school that he wanted to become a rock musician. There he met the future guitarist of the band \"Guns N' Roses\" Slash. After the lessons, they learned to play instruments together, and also created their first band \"Road Crew\".<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The \"classic\" line-up of Guns N’ Roses was finally formed on June 4, 1985, when Steven Adler and Slash officially joined the band. The very next day, after a short rehearsal, the band played their first concert. Two days later, the Guns N’ Roses members embarked on a short, unorganized tour of the West Coast. The musicians were traveling in a special van, but had to abandon the equipment when both of their cars broke down on the way to Seattle.
