He is best known as the first drummer of the band Guns N' Roses, in which he performed from 1985 to 1990. Adler is currently the drummer in his own band Adler's Appetite.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Adler moved with his family to Los Angeles at a young age, where during his studies he met Paul Hudson, later known as Slash, the future guitarist of Guns N' Roses. The boys became friends, they had many similar interests, including they both adored rock. After classes, they often stayed together and learned to play musical instruments - Steven on drums and Slash on guitar.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Their passion grew into something more, and the future members of the Guns N' Roses band seriously thought about a musical career.
