Leather-bound gift book "Dear friend" by Guy de Maupassant, in a case
"Dear Friend" (1885) is one of the most famous and often filmed novels by Maupassant. Time passes, but readers are still interested in the image of the cynical adventurer and womanizer Georges Duroy, the seducer of secular beauties, who does not disdain anything to break out of poverty and obscurity into high society. Having no special talents, except the ability to seduce women, the hero manages, however, not without difficulty, to achieve everything he wants.
This edition of the works has earned a reputation as the best in the history of printing execution. The binding, decorated with gold and pancake embossing, a three-sided gold trim and a colored decorative backing give the publication a stylish and respectable look at the same time.
