About this product
Replica of the 1999 Ferrari F399 autographed steering wheel
The Stargift collection features a replica of the steering wheel of the Ferrari F399 open-wheel racing car of the Scuderia Ferrari team for the 1999 Formula 1 season.
In the 1999 season, Ferrari racers competed for the title with Mika Hakkinen and his McLaren MP4/14. However, Michael Schumacher had an accident at the start of the British Grand Prix and broke his leg. The Irishman Eddie Irvine became the first number of the team, and Schumacher was replaced by Finn Mika Salo.
Hakkinen won the World title, but Schumacher, who returned to the track at the end of the season, helped the team win the first Constructors' Cup since 1983.
