About this product
Nigel Mansell is an English racing driver, world champion in Formula 1 class in 1992. Three times vice-champion. The first racing driver in the history of the American CART racing series to win the title of champion in the first season. He participated in 15 Formula 1 seasons and two CART series seasons.
During his career, Nigel Mansell started in only four Formula 1 teams (Lotus, Williams, Ferrari, McLaren), which at the time of his career were the four leading World Championship teams in history by most statistical indicators.
Despite the late start of his sports career, Mansell began driving at the age of 7. At the same age, he saw Jim Clark of Lotus win the British Grand Prix. The Scot's victory made a great impression on the child — young Nigel Mansell decided to imitate the great Scot.
