Eduard Uspensky came up with the story about the village of Prostokvashino when he worked as a librarian at a pioneer camp. There were not enough interesting books, and every evening the writer came up with new adventures for the children of Uncle Fyodor, Sharik and Matroskin the cat. The prototype of the latter was Anatoly Taraskin, a friend of Ouspensky from the film magazine "Wick".
The postcard is dedicated to the holiday of March 8th, it depicts Cheburashka with a bouquet of flowers. It was released in 1984 in Moscow, by artist T. Ignatieva.
Handwritten text on the postcard: "P.S. Olga Timofeevna! If possible, order 100 copies of "25 professions" for the author at the publishing house. And we will buy it out. A.Yu."
The text inside the postcard: "Dear Olga Timofeevna! Please accept our congratulations and good wishes from March 8th. With deep respect, E. Ouspensky. / muddle. / Klyazma. March 88".
