Eduard Uspensky is a Russian writer, playwright and screenwriter, author of children's books, TV presenter.

Eduard Uspensky came up with the story about the village of Prostokvashino when he worked as a librarian at a pioneer camp. The prototype of the latter was Anatoly Taraskin, a friend of Ouspensky from the film magazine "Wick".

The postcard is dedicated to the holiday of March 8th, it depicts Cheburashka with a bouquet of flowers. It was released in 1984 in Moscow, by artist T. Ignatieva.
