Agnia Lvovna Barto is a Russian Soviet children's poet, writer, screenwriter, radio presenter.
Winner of the Stalin Prize of the second degree (1950) and the Lenin Prize (1972).
Most of Agnia Barto's poems were written for preschoolers or elementary school children. Poems are easy to read and memorize. Through them, the author addressed the child on equal terms in simple language without lyrical digressions and descriptions. All the characters in the poems are called by their first names: "Tamara and I", "Who doesn't know Lyubochka", "Our Tanya is crying loudly", "Volodin's portrait", "Leshenka, Leshenka, do me a favor".
It is possible to make it into a baguette.
