The process of creating Berd Vaye sculptures takes from 1 to 2.5 months of painstaking design work, including sorting the details and polishing each of them. The sculptures are made of a transparent, damage-resistant precious resin known as Lucite, the most environmentally friendly material. The purpose of creating the sculptures was to embody the symbiosis of watchmaking and modern art, while demonstrating both the splendor of clockwork mechanisms and to capture the very concept of time, giving it shape and meaning.
