Its plot is drawn to the era of the Napoleonic Wars — a time of military campaigns, rapid political ups, diplomatic decisions and dramatic defeats. Each game at such a table is perceived as an intellectual reconstruction of a historical confrontation, where chess strategy is combined with the atmosphere of a large European theater of power. The figures are made of bronze according to the ancient technique of casting using a wax model, which makes it possible to achieve high detail of each image. The finish combines gilding and silvering, individual elements are covered with 24 carat gold, and each figure is signed by the sculptor, emphasizing the author's status of the headset. The chess table has a 55x55 cm tabletop made of onyx and Tuscan marble; the table height is 58 cm.
