The table is made of solid mahogany mahogany. Its base and legs exactly repeat the shape of an authentic object from the summer palace of Peter I.Its boxes are decorated with an ornament with anchors – a symbol of Russia's maritime power. The lid is characteristic – its corners are made in the form of bastions of Russian fortresses built in that era. Two crossed Latin letters "R" are the original monogram of the emperor, which stands for "Peter the Great, Father of the Fatherland." The image of the star and ribbon of the Order of St. Andrew reminds us that this highest distinction also appeared under the great reformer. The chessboard is made of veneer of Karelian birch imahagon.
Materials:The figures are a mammoth tusk; the table is a stained oak, lemon, walnut, sugar maple.
