Leather-bound gift book "One Thousand and One Nights"

This is a great epic of a great people – a collection of oriental parables and fables, chivalrous and roguish novels and stories in the Oriental spirit, touching stories about romantic lovers, funny narratives about the tricks of treacherous women, a collective description of the life of Caliph Harun al-Rashid with all the secrets and intrigues of the harem and, of course, the fairy tales themselves with jinns and carpet airplanes.
Unlike previous editions, this book focuses not on an orientalist specialist, but on the reader who will appreciate both the updated text and hundreds of color illustrations – a brilliant world sparkling with precious stones and bright colors of the East.
