His ghazals are considered the best in Persian poetry in terms of grace and artistry of verse. Jalaladdin Rumi (1207-1273) is famous as a wonderful poet, the author of the lyrical "Divan" and the poem "Mesnavi", as well as as a Sufi - one of the greatest mystics of all time. Saadi of Shiraz (1203-1291) is one of the favorite authors of the Islamic world. The words of Saadi, a wonderful exponent of the true Persian spirit, are still on everyone's lips today as proverbs and winged sayings.
