The Code of the samurai, the rules and norms of behavior of a person who has embarked on the Path of a Bushido Warrior, have their roots deep in antiquity. The philosophy of samurai was formed both under the influence of rational factors - historical, geographical, social, and under the influence of the spiritual foundations of Japanese society - Buddhism, Shintoism, and Zen teachings. All this is reflected in the works of the great warriors Yamamoto Tsunetomo (1659-1719) and Miyamoto Musashi (1584-1645).
