About this product
Russian Russian artist Alexander Nikolaevich Benois was the artistic director of the "Russian Seasons" in Paris, one of the founders and ideologists of the consolidation of Russian artists into the famous association "World of Art", which certainly had a serious impact on the development of European art of the XX century and largely determined its further development.
"The History of Painting of all Times and peoples" is perhaps the most significant work by A.N. Benois on the history of world art. This edition offers the full text of the "History of Painting of all Times and peoples" in modern writing. The special value of the publication is given by the fact that the rich illustrative series proposed by the author is reproduced using modern processing tools, partially in full color.
