The watch of the Uglich Watch Factory is an example of the oldest Russian traditions of watchmaking. The products of the factory are known to the generation of our mothers and grandmothers, who at one time wore miniature wristwatches "Chaika", which were considered a model of chic at that time. Their grace, beauty and reliability spoke about the quality of the products better than any advertisement. In 1995, a new enterprise was formed in Uglich – the Zvezda Watch Factory, which quickly entered the list of leaders of watch manufacturers in Russia and became the largest enterprise for the production of interior watches in the post-Soviet space.
