Albert Shesternev is a Soviet football player, defender, and coach. USSR champion and national Footballer of the Year (1970). He entered the top ten football players in Europe according to the weekly France Football.

Yuri Pshenichnikov is a Soviet football player, goalkeeper, and coach. In 1968, he was recognized as the best goalkeeper in the country.

Vladimir Kaplichny is a Soviet football player (defender) and football coach.  Five times he was among the "33 best football players of the season in the USSR", three times at number 1.

Eduard Malofeev is a Soviet and Belarusian football coach. In 1984-1986, Malofeev was the head coach of the USSR national team.

Jozsef Szabo is a Soviet football player and Ukrainian coach who played as a midfielder. He led Dynamo Kyiv five times, and was the coach of the Ukrainian national team twice.

This photo, presented in the Stargift collection, was taken in 1968 during the meetings of the national teams of the USSR and Mexico at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City. In one of the matches, the hosts acted as the "Olympic option" — in the near future, Mexico was preparing to host the XIX Olympic Games.

After the match, the head of the Soviet national team, A. Starostin, one of the famous founders of FC Spartak, and coach M. Yakushin shared their impressions.:

"First of all, we would like to note the friendly and correct atmosphere of the game, which allowed the players of both teams to fully demonstrate their playing qualities. The best players in our national team were Chislenko, Shesternev and, of course, Pshenichnikov. The team as a whole had a good meeting, especially considering that it was our first match of the new season and with a significantly updated squad.

The opponent was very serious. The Mexican national team has significantly improved in technique, speed and endurance. In short, it was good football!"

As a child, he loved to swim on American beaches, and his parents sent him to one of the strongest swimming clubs in the USA — Santa Clara. Spitz's first successes came when he turned 15. He won 4 gold medals at the Maccabi Games in Israel. Two years later, at the Pan American Games, he won 5 times in the heats at distances from 100 to 1500 m. And that was just the beginning. At the age of 18, Mark competed in the Olympic Games in Mexico City. Already here he expected to surpass the result of his idol Johnny Weissmuller, who won 5 gold medals at one Games. However, a change of coach and a severe cold prevented it. Mark won "only" two gold medals in the 4x100 and 4x200 m relay, silver in the 100 m butterfly and bronze in the 100-meter freestyle. The real fame came to Spitz at the 1972 Munich Games. Mark has conquered all 7 Olympic distances! Spitz's popularity did not decrease after the 1972 Olympic Games, he returned home not only with gold medals, but also with successful advertising contracts. According to the contract presented as an exhibit with the William Morris agency, Mark Spitz promoted a wide range of products - from swimwear and pool accessories to milk, razors and even hair dryers. In addition to maintaining a media image, Spitz has also appeared on television numerous times with stars such as Cher and Bob Hope.

In 1993, Artyom Tarasov invented the famous lottery "Russian Lotto". The resolution on granting a license to launch the lottery was signed by Yuri Luzhkov. Part of the profit was supposed to go to the budget of Moscow. Tarasov calculated that he would need $2.5 million to implement the lottery: to create a brand, rent a studio, pay for airtime, print tickets, and a distribution service. He received a loan for this amount from Stolichny Bank for a period of one year. Tarasov and his business partner Malik Saidullaev bought the first copies almost completely, spending more than $200 thousand on it. The purchased tickets were distributed by the employees of the Russian Lotto at the entrances to the subway, offering passers-by to turn on the TV at a certain time and play. Gradually, the popularity of the lottery grew. The third edition has already brought 55 thousand tickets sold.
