Former US President Bill Clinton is a big fan of Chuck Berry, and the president invited the musician to perform at both of his inaugurations. After the death of the rock musician, Bill Clinton stated: "Hillary and I have loved Chuck Berry for as long as we can remember. This man was inseparable from his music – both were completely original and distinctly American. He made our feet move and our hearts rejoice. And along the way, he changed our country and the history of popular music."
In 1977, two American space probes Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 launched from Cape Canaveral into the abyss of outer space. On board, both probes had gold plates with greetings addressed to extraterrestrial civilizations, as well as samples of terrestrial sounds and music. Among other things, Chuck Berry's song "Johnny B. Goode" was recorded on the gold disc. Chuck hasn't been with us for more than seven years, and his music still floats in space and lives in people's hearts.
