The limited edition of Dmitry Donskoy pens was created in collaboration with Moscow artist Viktor Matorin, a graduate of the Moscow State Academy of Painting and Architecture Ilya Glazunov.
The artistic solution of the pen is based on the painting of the same name by V. Matorin, painted in 2004 and which became the central exhibit in the Kulikovo Field Museum in the Tula region.
The author managed to accurately depict the character of the hero and his time so that the painting became a reference image of Dmitry Donskoy. The plot of this work of art is also part of the general education program in Russian language and literature.
On the cap of the pen, as in the center of the painting by V. Matorin, there is a portrait of Prince Dmitry Donskoy. The prince appears before us without weapons, as a defender of the Fatherland, a symbol of courage and perseverance of the Russian people.
Hand-painted in the technique of lacquer miniature by the artists of the Fedoskinsky workshops and the Kholuysky art factory. The title "Grand Duke of Vladimir and Moscow Dmitry Ivanovich Donskoy" is applied to the body of the pen in the technique of hand-painted with gilding.

the feather is made of 18K gold.
