About this product
Art. : 174-1278

The limited edition of Dmitry Donskoy pens was created in collaboration with Moscow artist Viktor Matorin, a graduate of the Moscow State Academy of Painting and Architecture Ilya Glazunov.

The artistic solution of the pen is based on the painting of the same name by V. Matorin, painted in 2004 and which became the central exhibit in the Kulikovo Field Museum in the Tula region.

The author managed to accurately depict the character of the hero and his time so that the painting became a reference image of Dmitry Donskoy. The plot of this work of art is also part of the general education program in Russian language and literature.

On the cap of the pen, as in the center of the painting by V. Matorin, there is a portrait of Prince Dmitry Donskoy. The prince appears before us without weapons, as a defender of the Fatherland, a symbol of courage and perseverance of the Russian people.

Hand-painted in the technique of lacquer miniature by the artists of the Fedoskinsky workshops and the Kholuysky art factory. The title "Grand Duke of Vladimir and Moscow Dmitry Ivanovich Donskoy" is applied to the body of the pen in the technique of hand-painted with gilding.

The body and cap of the pen are made of black acrylic resin, the clip of the pen and the rim on the cap are made of 925 sterling silver with gold plating,
the feather is made of 18K gold.

Parker LAPIS LAZULI DUOFOLD 100TH fountain pen, pen F LAPIS LAZULI DUOFOLD 100TH fountain pen, pen F In 2021, Parker celebrates the centenary of Duofold. In honor of this date, the company has made a special edition of the pen, which will be available for 12 months. Launched in 1921, Parker Duofold's bold and pattern-breaking "big red" color attracted buyer interest and paved the way for many other bold colors that Duofold is famous for. The pen embodied everything that the roaring 1920s were known for: an abundance of popular cultures; it was a time when many people tried new cultures and rejected traditional rules. Showcasing 130 years of design innovation and craftsmanship, the anniversary edition of the Duofold pen will be unique but recognizable. Lapis Lazuli (Lapis Lazuli) The intense blue lapis lazuli model was originally released in 1927, being a bright and distinctive addition to the already existing range of pens. The purpose of its creation was to regain a share in the then competitive market of colored pens. The Duofold Lapis Lazuli model is named after a dark blue gemstone. To make the handle look like a gemstone product, small blue and white inclusions were added, giving it additional depth and shine. "Lapis" is the Latin word for stone, and "azure" comes from the Arabic word "azul", meaning blue. A design inspired by experimental Duofold models from the 1930s. By the 1930s, PARKER began experimenting with the Duofold model, combining different color schemes together, resulting in alternating color stripes. These experiments eventually led to the creation of the PARKER Vacumatic model. The Duofold 100 was inspired by experimental pens from the early 1930s, in which several layers of precious resin are joined together, creating a spectacular coloring of the cap and pen body.
