It is believed that International Women's Day was originally a symbol of women revolutionaries fighting for equal rights with men. And when in 1857, on March 8, workers of American textile factories went to a rally demanding higher wages and shorter working hours, they did not suspect that in 1910, with the light hand of Clara Zetkin, this day would be celebrated as an annual women's holiday.
Few people know that in the 1st century BC, ancient Roman women worshipped the goddess Juno in the first days of March, who patronized women, gave them offspring and well-being. Interestingly, on this day, men took on all the responsibilities of the household, gifting their wives and lovers with beautiful gifts.
It probably doesn't matter so much when and in which country this pleasant tradition appeared. On a beautiful day on March 8, women are waiting for confessions, attention, compliments and luxurious gifts. They want to make sure once again that they are loved and appreciated, and the more gorgeous the present, the happier our beautiful and lovely ladies are.
