Круглый стол в Госдуме

On September 15, a round table discussion on "Russia's creative Economy: legal barriers and mechanisms of state support in the field of classical, modern art, jewelry and folk art crafts" was held in the Small Hall of the State Duma.

The initiator of the meeting and moderator of the round table was Angelika Sergeevna Kulagina, the owner of the company Luxpodarki.ru . It was important for her to gather at one table people who work in these fields every day: craftsmen, artists, jewelers, heads of enterprises and creative associations, representatives of the professional community and government agencies.

More than 250 people took part in the event. Among the participants were representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Culture of Russia, President of the Russian Academy of Arts Vasily Tsereteli, State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Culture Zhanna Alekseeva, President of the Academy of Sciences of the Chechen Republic Dzhambulat Umarov.

During the round table, 27 presentations were made by industry representatives.

Angelika Kulagina moderated the meeting and announced important initiatives for the industry. During the discussion, special attention was paid not to abstract issues, but to real problems that the professional community faces in its daily work.

The participants talked about what needs to be changed so that craftsmen, artists, jewelers, folk art enterprises and other participants in the creative economy can develop.

The main objective of the meeting was to make the voice of the professional community heard. Many issues remain within individual industries, so it was important to create a platform where their representatives could directly talk about existing problems and propose specific solutions.

Angelika Kulagina also thanked Leonid Slutsky for his support of the initiative and assistance in organizing the event.

The next stage will be the formation of a pool of initiatives and proposals that can help develop Russia's creative economy. Following the meeting, Angelika Kulagina is preparing a resolution, which she plans to submit to the head of the LDPR party for consideration at the autumn session of the State Duma.

The round table was not the finale, but the beginning of a great collaboration between representatives of the creative industries, the professional community and government agencies.
