About this product
Art. : 174-999

Limited quantity – 1964 for each variant and model. The brooch is made of 925 sterling silver, decorated with white topaz, amethysts and pearls. Production at the jewelry factory in Valenza, the center of jewelry production in Italy.

The basis for the design of this model was the Imperial Order of St. Vladimir, an award of the Russian Empire in four degrees for military distinction and civil merit. Established in honor of Prince Vladimir the Baptist in 1782, until 1917 this order was an award for a wide range of middle-ranking officials for public service and socially useful activities. Like all models in this collection, the brooch has an emphatically vintage character, but it is not copied, but only vaguely resembles the original Order of the Russian Empire. On the back of each model there is an inscription briefly describing the place and time of the establishment of the orders and the full name of each of them.
925 Silver-35 gr. ave., 32 Topaz 4.82 ct, 56 Amethysts 5.03 ct, 8 River Pearls 3.78 ct

Silver brooch "Clover" from the collection "Herbarium of Tatyana Polyakova" Silver brooch "Clover" from the collection "Herbarium of Tatyana Polyakova" Since those distant years, vigorously traveling and living in different parts of the world, spinning the globe in the hope of finding, like Nabokov, my daisies and Rachmaninov, my lilacs, I have been looking for jewelers who could bring my dreams and childhood discoveries to life in precious metal. And so in the fall of 2019, at an etiquette brunch in my favorite St. Petersburg Astoria, which I arranged for clients, an elegant lady, the mother of two brothers, regulars of my course, presented me with a silver spoon of "Russian gems" with lilac flowers. My eyes flashed! And in my life, my full namesake Tatyana Polyakova, the artist of "Russian Gems", who painted my herbarium from memory, also appeared. I also checked the slope of the stems, and the shades, and the proportions according to those Tver happy childhood memories. And, as it turned out, the best, free, beautiful, fragrant and precious memories of a lifetime. In the summer of 2020, my mother left, who accustomed me to potted non-wilting flowers that were transplanted into gardens and lawns. Shortly before her death, symbolically, my first jewelry herbarium of 25 plants saw the light. "My emotion from clover is not about luck, wealth, fame, but about the taste of sweet nectar from tubular petals, which we all tasted in childhood. I prick my clover-porridge or clover-cat and wear it in a bouquet with a daisy and a bell. And always with field grass." Shortly before her death, symbolically, my first jewelry herbarium of 25 plants saw the light. "I've never read fortune-telling on wild daisies. But I believed in the belief that a daisy grew where a star fell. Daisies are starry flowers for me. A distinctive sign. I remember my first wreath. This was the crown of childhood. Even now, I determine the onset of summer by the proud, unraveled inflorescences, waiting for the opportunity to stop in the field and touch a delicate petal. I pin a daisy brooch on the silk lapel of my tuxedo. As a sign of the significance of the moment. Not a live gardenia, but my St. Petersburg chamomile. And the topic of conversation appears immediately. I decorate my white men's shirts with chamomile. Men can't afford it, can they? Or is this a hint?" "A bright green, brazenly beautiful, fern leaf opening in front of my eyes, unfolding in a spiral from a bud, arranged my first garden and forest art performances of childhood. I didn't believe in the legend of the blooming fern. I wasn't looking for him. I was looking for an artist who can draw my emotions, and a jeweler who will filigreely repeat the drawing and color my favorite sheet with layers of enamel. The fern protecting the delicate flowers of forget–me-nots and lilies of the valley is my perfect bouquet. A bouquet that won't wither. And it will not disappear from nature. And it will prolong spring and summer!" Shortly before her death, symbolically, my first jewelry herbarium of 25 plants saw the light. "For a long time we painted and decorated our mimosa from the acacia family, a flower recognized by the French as the queen of all growing flowers, a symbol of celebration, tenderness, emotion and sensuality. The first fluffy flowers in the December rays of the southern sun, mimosa festivals on the Riviera, Capri and Monaco, a bouquet of mimosa in Paris and in childhood in Leningrad. I remember my first acquaintance forever. I do not believe in the legend that mimosa is able to reveal the cunning of a lady by lowering and squeezing the leaves. On the contrary, mimosa is about the sun and happiness. The brooch branch turned out to be voluminous. And very self-sufficient. I often hang it on scarves and even on curtains. I connect it with yellow and white daffodils." None of my childhood bouquets could do without this soft spikelet of the cereal family. It is the field, typical and recognizable and always undeservedly nameless Timofeevka that makes the bouquet complete and real. It's time to find out her name and combine it in a real summer bouquet with daisies, bluebells and clover."
