Bust of porcelain "Peter the Great" Bust of porcelain "Peter the Great" Whiter than frost and snow, more ringing than jade – the poet from the Celestial Empire, who sang porcelain, did not skimp on epithets! Among the great inventions of China, porcelain claims to be, if not the most important, then the most beautiful. The secret of making porcelain tableware was kept in the strictest secrecy. Attempts to find her out were punishable by death. However, first exported to Asian countries, and by the XVI century to Europe, porcelain was valued above gold. Scientists and masters from all over the world struggled to reveal his secret. The complex technology of mixing porcelain mass, which includes kaolin, quartz and mica, and no less complex roasting are just the basics learned from the Chinese. Japanese, Florentine, and Prussian porcelain manufactories added something of their own to this base, obtaining, although different from the prototype, but beautiful porcelain in its own way.

Porcelain composition "Yalta Conference of 1945" Porcelain composition "Yalta Conference of 1945" The Yalta Conference of 1945 set of statuettes is a collector's piece made of porcelain of a high artistic level, reflecting one of the key moments of world history. Three figures are placed on the pedestal — the leaders of the countries of the anti-Hitler coalition.: Winston Churchill, Franklin Roosevelt and Joseph Stalin. The master conveyed not only portrait similarities, but also characters reflected in poses, gestures, and facial expressions. These are not just figurines, but a carefully crafted scene in which every detail — from the folds of the overcoat to the architecture of the chairs — has historical and plastic significance. The composition was created by Leonid Golovko, a student and assistant of the People's Sculptor of the USSR Z.I. Azgur. The artist has participated in exhibitions in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Minsk, Amsterdam, Berlin, Washington, Warsaw and other cities, and his works are in galleries and private collections of major representatives of world politics, culture and business. This work was created on the eve of the 70th anniversary of the Yalta Conference, a meeting that defined the future of the post-war world and consolidated the global order that was being formed in the Livadia Palace in February 1945. The last meeting of the "big three" in the pre-nuclear era became a symbol of the balance of interests and responsibility of leaders before history. Portrait military subjects are one of the most difficult areas in ceramics. It requires not only jewelry mastery of the material, but also a deep knowledge of history, military uniforms, and individual characteristics of images. Such porcelain pieces are available in limited editions and are of particular interest to collectors around the world. This is not just a souvenir, but an iconic thing — a historical artifact in artistic embodiment, capable of occupying a central place in any intellectual collection.

A man with a white goose under his arm was running bent over from the square towards the highway. With his left hand, he held a hard straw hat on his head. A large crowd was running after him, shouting. The man who was running away often looked back, and an expression of horror could be seen on his handsome actor's face. Panikovsky is running!   Porcelain statuette "Great Russian of the Ryazan province" Porcelain statuette "Great Russian of the Ryazan province" The Great Russian of the Ryazan province is a unique sculpture among the "Nationalities of Russia". It should be emphasized that the correct name of the sculpture "Sower" - sculptor Pavel Kamensky purposefully highlighted his profession, not his nationality. After all, his task was to show not only the appearance, costumes and special facial features of the nationalities, but also their character, mentality and lifestyle. The choice of the name focuses on the importance of agriculture for residents of the South Russian provinces: Ryazan, Tula or Tambov – it is for these territories that a festive costume of this kind is characteristic. The man is wearing a belted shirt made of striped fabric and trousers with blue and white stripes made of plain linen. Hanging from the character's shoulder is his main attribute, a large basket of seeds. Traditionally, it was believed that sowing was an exclusively male occupation, by nature accessible only to adult and mature men, the heads of the family. With a broad and confident gesture, the peasant sprinkles the fertile land. "The Great Russian of the Ryazan Province" is one of the most striking images from the "Nationalities of Russia" series.

Porcelain figurine "Crimean Tatar" Porcelain figurine "Crimean Tatar" The birthplace of the "Crimean Tatar" was a favorite vacation spot of the emperors of the Russian Empire, and perhaps that is why this territory was particularly influenced by Russian culture, which was reflected by Pavel Kamensky when designing a costume for the figure presented. The Tatar is dressed in an uncharacteristic shirt with a floral pattern for his tradition. Surprisingly, the sculptor of the series paid attention not only to the identity of a certain people, but also to modern changes in the ensemble of the costume. Other elements of clothing retain their traditions: a long flowing shirt made of black fabric, loose trousers and a sash belt, and a flat astrakhan hat adorns the head of the Tatar.

Porcelain figurine "Vysotsky" Porcelain figurine "Vysotsky" The artists of the Imperial Porcelain Factory are famous not only for their mastery of porcelain painting, but also for creating new interesting shapes. Porcelain sculpture is both fragile and plastic; it is able to convey the most subtle nuances and shades of the character of the characters depicted. This is exactly what the new work of the artist A. Nicheporchuk turned out to be – the sculpture "Vladimir Vysotsky". The author chose a wayward material for the sculptural portrait – "biscuit", using the casting method followed by high-temperature firing. Nevertheless, the sculpture surprisingly accurately conveys Vysotsky's "rebellious" character. We are faced with a cult poet, an artist of theater and cinema, a creative personality and at the same time a surprisingly strong–minded person who at one time was able to resist generally accepted views and norms. Having become the personification of the creative element, today, thanks to the masters of the Imperial Porcelain Factory, he himself found reflection in the most noble and majestic element – Russian porcelain.

Porcelain sculpture "In pointe shoes" Porcelain sculpture "In pointe shoes" The sculpture "In Pointe Shoes" from the Ballet Class series was made at the Imperial Porcelain Factory from hard biscuit porcelain. The art of dance has always attracted the attention of masters of fine arts. Thanks to their creative searches, the magic of porcelain, we have the opportunity to visually see all the plastic dancers. The history of the creation of sculptures "In a tutu" and "In pointe shoes" is quite interesting. One day Galina Belash, a sculptor at the Imperial Porcelain Factory, was invited by fellow artists from the Mariinsky Theatre to a rehearsal of a modern performance in a ballet class. Having witnessed the birth of dance sketches, the sculptor was particularly interested in two young ballerinas who were resting between rehearsals. The girls were sitting on the floor, talking carelessly to each other and at the same time straightening their hair. It was this scene that became the starting point for the creation of sculptures "In a tutu" and "In pointe shoes". As Galina Belash herself admits, in every era ballerinas became the heroes of paintings and sculptures, but she wanted to look at the servants of dance from a different angle, without classical steps and fouettes. And she succeeded. Two young fashionistas, it can be seen by their hairstyles, are full of charm, life and we easily understand that they are our contemporaries. Perhaps a few years will pass, and they will become the new stars of the Mariinsky Theater. The artist especially focuses on the lightness of the dresses and the grace of the girls. The sculptures will be a wonderful gift for lovers of theatrical art and modern porcelain.
