Jewelery stone-cutting composition "Rowan. The beauty of autumn"
""Rowan"" stone—cutting jewelry composition is a unique author's work of the jewelry house SHIKO, celebrating the beauty of Russian nature in the language of precious metals and rare minerals. A rowan tree appears in front of the viewer at the time of autumn splendor, when the branches bend under the weight of ripe bunches, and the foliage shimmers with dozens of natural shades. Thanks to the filigree handwork, the composition looks surprisingly lively, like a fragment of an autumn forest carefully transferred to the interior. Such a work will become a worthy decoration of an office, a country house or a collection of a connoisseur of high-level stone-cutting art.
In creating the composition, the masters used a rich palette of minerals, donated by nature itself. The branches are made of 925 sterling silver with elements of 585 gold. Rowan berries deserve special attention: there are 280 of them in the composition. The red fruits are made of a rare smalt, purpurine, extracted back in the 1950s of the last century. The deep black berries are made from lidite, a mineral also known as assay stone. The leaves are striking in a variety of shades: yellow, red and brown are made of Valdai flint, green are carved from Picasso jasper, and yellow leaves with characteristic natural inclusions are made of Far Eastern agate. The individual brown branches are made of jasper, and the base of the composition is made of moss agate, the pattern of which resembles forest soil with its natural color and texture transitions. Every detail is hand-crafted and carefully selected in shade, which makes each work truly unique.
Rowan in Russian culture is a symbol of beauty, vitality, family well-being and the connection of generations. That is why the composition is perceived not only as a decorative object, but also as a work of art filled with deep meaning. Under different lighting conditions, minerals reveal new shades: purple flashes with a rich scarlet glow, agates and flint demonstrate a complex play of natural patterns, and the noble shine of silver and gold emphasizes the elegance of each branch. ""Rowan"" by SHIKO is a rare example of jewelry art, in which the artist's skill, the wealth of natural materials and the love of Russian nature are combined in a single harmonious composition, capable of preserving its artistic and collectible value for decades.
