A hedgehog carved from an elk's horn froze in an instant of movement, leaving the impression of an almost living presence. On his back stands the finest carved composition in the shape of an apple, made in the technique of through-carving. Each needle point is carefully outlined, conveying the illusion of softness and sharpness at the same time.
