The Royal casket is a collector's item and the epitome of aristocratic taste. The base is made of rare jasper in a rich burgundy shade with marble veins, framed by massive decorative brass plates with electroplated gilding. Large cubic zirconia crowns the lid and facades, playing with glare in any light. The interior is made of bordeaux—colored velvet, which creates depth and focuses attention on the contents. The casket is intended for storing exceptional items — orders, family heirlooms, jewelry with a history.
The design uses the Zlatoust technique of metal engraving, one of the oldest and most labor-intensive in Russia. The gilded inserts are decorated with hand-made filigree carvings, and the inside of the lid is crowned with a landscape in the style of Russian realism, recreated by multi-layered engraving using various shades of gold and silver. Ural craftsmen have painstakingly achieved a picturesque rendering of the landscape: every spruce, every mountain is the result of jewelry precision, many years of study and absolute concentration. The engraving is complemented by a luxurious floral frame, in harmony with the exterior decor.
Such a casket does not just store, it speaks. It is given to those whose history requires a special sign, to whom it is not just a gift, but a symbol of heritage. It will fit seamlessly into a classic-style office or become an accent in a personal collection. The Royal Museum is a modern—day reliquary where objects become artifacts and memories take shape.
