Birch chess, ash and tinted beech pieces

This is one of the newest sets of chess pieces in our assortment. Its characteristics fully meet the needs of fans of this ancient game:
- The figures are carved from an array of Caucasian ash (light) and tinted beech (black). The height of the king is 4 inches (about 10.4 cm). A weighting device is installed at the base of each figure, so that the figure is weighty and lies pleasantly in the player's hand. The bases of the figures are glued with natural soft goat leather. The queens are crowned with natural river pearls on both sides.
- The board is made of solid moraine birch. The board size is 43*43 cm
- The field is made up of alternately arranged squares of maple veneer (white cells) and mahogany (dark cells). Each field is set manually. The size of the field cage is 48.5*48.5 mm.
- Alphabetic and numeric indexing of cells is applied along the edge of the field.
- Inside the board there is a soft bed with compartments for each piece, as a result of which the pieces do not deform. Each set comes in a cardboard shipping box equipped with a convenient carrying handle.
