About this product
"Those who did not visit Versailles during the old order did not see life," writes Charles-Maurice Talleyrand, who knew a lot about pleasure. This set resurrects the spirit of that time, which is not in vain called the "Gallant Age".
The figures are made of mammoth bone. The white figures represent the gallant cavaliers of the royal retinue. And the whites are experienced stateswomen and young ladies-in-waiting.
The casket for the set is made of beech and walnut, and sparkles with gilding and mirrors. This delightful ensemble of facades of the grand palace and the Trianon seems to come to life in front of us. And around the playing field we see the traditional decor of the royal residences of France: lily, sun and insignia.
