Omar Khayyam (c. 1048-1131) was a mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher. O.Khayyam's biography is shrouded in legends, myths and speculation, it is impossible to determine how many quatrains are truly Khayyam, one thing is obvious - before us is the greatest poetic genius, whose poetry was born from the rhythmic beating of two loving hearts. Illustrations by the artist Mohamed Tajvidi, as well as Persian miniatures of the XV-XIX centuries, miniatures of Kashmiri manuscripts of the XVIII century. The pages are full-color.
