"Decameron" by the Italian writer and poet of the XIV century. Giovanni Boccaccio is one of the most famous books of the early Italian Renaissance.

This edition publishes a translation from Italian, made by Nikolai Mikhailovich Lyubimov, winner of the USSR State Prize.

The publication is decorated with magnificent Art Nouveau illustrations by the famous artist, theater decorator and costume designer Umberto Brunelleschi, whose exquisite drawings are distinguished by honed technique, elegance and light eroticism.
