Kozma Petrovich Prutkov is a fictional author, a literary mask, a collective pseudonym under which the poet Count Alexei Konstantinovich Tolstoy, brothers Alexei, Vladimir and Alexander Zhemchuzhnikov published their works in the 50s and 60s of the XIX century.
The book is decorated with 262 illustrations by the cartoonist, cartoonist and book designer Sergei Petrovich Tyunin.
