The famous Ushakov image of the Savior is reproduced on the central part of the three-leaf folding. The image is extremely concise: a board, on it the face of Christ in a halo and an inscription in Greek – nothing else. Simon Ushakov– the titan of the Golden Age, the “sovereign isographer," revolutionized Russian icon painting. To replace the traditional techniques that persisted until the middle of the 17th century, Simon introduced a new artistic language based on the principles of “pictorial”. The doors depict the upcoming patrons: St. Nicholas, Sergius of Radonezh, Spyridon of Trimifunt, Seraphim of Sarov. An excerpt from the prayer "Our Father" is printed on the back of the triptych.
