The folding is carved from solid black oak with handwritten leather faces and halos covered with gold leaf

It is customary to call "folding" several small icons fastened with loops to each other. Its main purpose is the opportunity to build a small icon corner anywhere and at any time, where there will be an opportunity to pray. Accordingly, a fold is needed for those who lack time or life circumstances deprive of the opportunity to pray at home or in church. For those to whom such a need comes at the workplace, in the hospital, on a trip. Our folding table is made in the form of a triptych, a portable analogue of the church royal gates.

The folding body is made of solid black oak. The sturdy and legendary material creates a feeling of massiveness and heaviness of the product. However, taking the fold in hand reveals its amazing lightness. This effect is achieved due to a very deep three-dimensional carving covering the entire surface of the folding.

When closed, the front panel is decorated with the text of the prayer "Our Father" protruding from the frame. In the upper part above the text there is a carved panel "The Last Supper". The Crucifixion of the Lord is carved on the back in the upcoming ones.

Opening the folding doors, three icons painted on the skin are found inside. In the center is the Lord Almighty, measuring 15x20 cm, on the doors are the faces of the Mother of God and Nicholas the Wonderworker, measuring 10x15 cm. Since the faces are handwritten, they all differ slightly from each other and from the posted photos, but at the same time they have one original from which they are written. The halos of all three faces are covered with gold leaf.
