Oriental tea set for 6 persons, Zlatoust

The Zlatoust tea service will give a royal charm to the serving of even the simplest table, and the everyday tea party will turn into a real oriental ceremony. All the items in the set are decorated with a traditional beautiful Arabic pattern, emphasizing the fabulousness of this souvenir gift.

Arabs welcome guests with tea, coffee and soft drinks. In Arab countries, hot drinks are served in special bowls – cups without a handle and, as a rule, are already sweet. Therefore, in this set, instead of traditional cups, we see exclusive bowls with gilded ornaments and cabochons made of natural stones.

Although coffee drinks are more popular in eastern countries, tea is also respected here. Traditionally, Arabs do not brew tea, but cook it immediately with a lot of sugar. It may seem like syrup, however, surprisingly it quenches thirst well on a hot day.

When the water is close to boiling, the Arabs leave it for another 5 minutes, and then pour the tea several times from the jug /teapot into porcelain dishes and back. According to Arab traditions, tea is a sign of hospitality and respect for visitors.

The collections of fine tableware from the masters of Zlatoust are spectacularly decorated with painting, etching and gilding. After an elegant pattern is applied to the polished surface, the product is dried in an oven and processed, after which the pattern becomes embossed.

The secrets and subtleties of this art are passed down from generation to generation, so unique works of art cannot be repeated. Gift tableware made in the style of Zlatoust masters can become a valuable family heirloom, which will be appreciated by future generations.
