Wall installation "Hockey Player - Rising Defender" by Taras Zheltyshev

The Hockey Player (Rising Defender) installation is dedicated to the game, the universal language of communication at all times and on all continents. The image of a hockey goalkeeper is drawn to the archetype of a defender and a team player who is ready to do everything possible for the benefit of the community. The rich colors of the work, bizarre textures and patterns in the form of ominous grimaces resemble natural danger signals, which are an integral part of charms and talismans in world culture.

Taras Zheltyshev is one of the most authentic artists in Russia. He creates sculptures, paintings, collectibles and furniture. Taras is a multiple participant of international exhibitions and the winner of the main prizes of various design awards. As part of the Yoomoota project, the artist explores a unique alternative universe. Her objects reflect the fantastic inner world of humanity, embodying all the phenomena of our lives.
