The document signed by John Paul II is an invitation addressed to a professor of the Polish University to a conference on the iconography of St. Stanislaus, scheduled for the end of November 1973. Within the framework of the conference at the Archbishop's residence in Krakow, a number of speeches were provided on the significance of the cult of the Saint for the Polish people. The event was dedicated to the 900th anniversary of Stanislav Shchepanovsky's accession to the title of bishop.
