"Life in Hell" is a provocative humorous comic book series, with which the famous creator of The Simpsons began his creative career.
The copy presented in the Stargift collection is dated in the author's handwriting: 10/3/87.
It is noteworthy that in these years – the late 1980s, Groening painted a number of advertising posters and illustrated advertising brochures for Apple with the characters of "Life in Hell".
The comic itself started back in 1977 and ended only in 2012, when its author finally came to terms with the fact that he was too busy producing his other projects and simply could not continue to draw new issues on a regular basis.
