This sumptuously illustrated edition is dedicated to the memory of the Moscow historian I.E. Zabelin. The exhibit comes from the library of architect Boris Yefimovich.
Boris Yefimovich is a Soviet architectural engineer, author of projects for large public buildings; associate professor, academician of architecture. At the May 1934 architectural exhibition, Boris Yefimovich presented a project for the Narkomvoda sanatorium in Sochi. The prospect of this project was published in the Architecture of the USSR magazine. In 1939, together with architect A.V. Barulin, he completed the project of the Green Theater at the All-Russian Exhibition. According to Yefimovich's design, the classic theater building of the Palace on Yauza, located in the old Moscow district of Preobrazhenskoye, was completed. He designed the Krasnaya Moskva Sanatorium and the Novaya Riviera sanatorium in Sochi, as well as the musical and drama Theater in Voronezh. He was engaged in the design of sanatoriums and rest homes in the Krasnodar Territory and the Crimea.
