Vladimir Glynin is a modern popular Russian photographer and artist. Glynin has been known as a fashion photographer since 1998, when he began collaborating with Vogue Russia. His works have been created for L'Officiel Russia, GQ Russia, Harper's Bazaar Russia and other leading glossy publications. Since the 2010s, the author has moved away from fashion photography and engaged in art projects. Glynin's photographs resemble abstract compositions due to a special multi-exposure technique, the result of which viewers often mistake for painted digital effects, although all his photos are created manually and are not retouched.
All photos for the project were created without the use of digital technologies. The result is obtained thanks to the multi-exposure. The abstractionist's attention is focused not so much on the objective or subjective representation of the world, as on the possibility of detaching himself from the narrative: Glynin is not interested in people, houses, trees or even images, but silhouettes, shapes, lines, volumes and texture.
