Nursultan Nazarbayev is a Soviet and Kazakhstani statesman and politician. He is the absolute record holder for the duration of his stay in power in the post-Soviet space. His term of office is 27 years.

Nursultan Nazarbayev began his career in 1960 as a simple worker -metallurgist of the construction management of the Kazmetallurgstroy trust — in the Karaganda region.
In the same year, the first blast furnace in Kazakhstan and Central Asia was launched, and Nazarbayev personally participated in the smelting of the first Kazakh cast iron.

Quite a lot is known about Nursultan Nazarbayev's hobbies — the former president of Kazakhstan is fond of playing the dombra, wrestling, golf and skiing.
