Silver brooch "Water Lily" from the collection "Herbarium of Tatyana Polyakova" Silver brooch "Water Lily" from the collection "Herbarium of Tatyana Polyakova" Since those distant years, vigorously traveling and living in different parts of the world, spinning the globe in the hope of finding, like Nabokov, my daisies and Rachmaninov, my lilacs, I have been looking for jewelers who could bring my dreams and childhood discoveries to life in precious metal. And so in the fall of 2019, at an etiquette brunch in my favorite St. Petersburg Astoria, which I arranged for clients, an elegant lady, the mother of two brothers, regulars of my course, presented me with a silver spoon of "Russian gems" with lilac flowers. My eyes flashed! And in my life, my full namesake Tatyana Polyakova, the artist of "Russian Gems", who painted my herbarium from memory, also appeared. I also checked the slope of the stems, and the shades, and the proportions according to those Tver happy childhood memories. And, as it turned out, the best, free, beautiful, fragrant and precious memories of a lifetime. In the summer of 2020, my mother left, who taught me to potted non-wilting flowers that were transplanted into gardens and lawns. Shortly before her death, symbolically, my first jewelry herbarium of 25 plants saw the light. Lotus's relatives, the nymphs, served me for hours as a child. Nature has instructed the water lily to move after the sun. I've never been late. The ritual of passing by the pond with these living inflorescences lying on heart-shaped leaves is one of the most beautiful memories of summer village life. And isn't that where my punctuality comes from? A symbol of beauty and eloquence, a talisman against adversity and obstacles during travel - I just need such a brooch. Thanks to the skill of jewelers, this summer I will decorate my tunic with a mother-of-pearl-white flower and put it on a ribbon on my head. Or a hat? After all, brooches are insignia. And - decency For more than a hundred years, Russian Gems has been preserving the technologies of the famous St. Petersburg jewelry school and developing innovative methods for making precious masterpieces. Craftsmen create luxurious jewelry, silverware, enamel-filigree products and interior items that distinguish the originality of the author's ideas and an unsurpassed level of performance. The Imperial Jewelry House has repeatedly won prestigious awards from leading industry experts, which confirms the quality and high artistic value of the products.

Silver brooch "Birch" from the collection "Tatiana Polyakova Herbarium" Silver brooch "Birch" from the collection "Tatiana Polyakova Herbarium" Since those distant years, traveling vigorously and living in different parts of the world, spinning the globe in the hope of finding, like Nabokov, my daisies and Rachmaninov, my lilacs, I have been looking for jewelers who could make my dreams and childhood discoveries come true in precious metal. And so in the fall of 2019, at an etiquette brunch in my favorite St. Petersburg Astoria, which I hosted for clients, an elegant lady, the mother of two brothers, regulars of my course, presented me with a silver spoon of "Russian gems" with lilac flowers. My eyes flashed! And in my life, my full namesake Tatiana Polyakova, the artist of "Russian Gems", also appeared, who painted my herbarium from memory. I also adjusted the slope of the stems, and the shades, and the proportions according to those Tver happy childhood memories. And, as it turned out, the best, free, beautiful, fragrant and precious memories of a lifetime. In the summer of 2020, my mother left, having accustomed me to potted non-wilting flowers that were transplanted into gardens and lawns. Shortly before her death, symbolically, my first jewelry herbarium of 25 plants was released. The golden strands of birch have darkened in my school herbarium. And for many years, the artists and jewelers of Russian Gems and I have been trying to restore the shade from childhood memories. It didn't work out. They put it off for a year. Birch is a pagan Goddess. A symbol of femininity and tenderness. Dmitry Merezhkovsky's Northern birch and Konstantin Paustovsky's golden-streaked birch, Yesenin's white birch.... I look for these Northern birches in the cities where I settle, live and often visit. Betula grew up in our courtyard in Milan, and I use the addresses of the Parisian birches to set my walking route. The shade is caught. The wind stirs a silver strand. We are entering autumn ... we wear brooches according to the season. For more than a hundred years, Russian Gems has been preserving the technologies of the famous St. Petersburg jewelry school and developing innovative methods for making precious masterpieces. The craftsmen create luxurious jewelry, silverware, enamel-filigree products and interior items, which are distinguished by the originality of the author's ideas and an unsurpassed level of performance.   Silver brooch "Violet forest" collection "Herbarium of Tatiana Polyakova" Silver brooch "Violet forest" collection "Herbarium of Tatiana Polyakova" Since those distant years, vigorously traveling and living in different parts of the world, spinning the globe in the hope of finding, like Nabokov, my daisies and Rachmaninov, my lilacs, I have been looking for jewelers who could bring my dreams and childhood discoveries to life in precious metal. And so in the fall of 2019, at an etiquette brunch in my favorite St. Petersburg Astoria, which I arranged for clients, an elegant lady, the mother of two brothers, regulars of my course, presented me with a silver spoon of "Russian gems" with lilac flowers. With these modest natural compositions found in the copses of forest violets, my unconditional love for cultivated velvety and brazenly beautiful pansies began. I did not know the legend of the unrequited love of the gentle Anyuta at that time. Children's legends of feelings and experiences are different for everyone. But my love for violets – quiet, faithful and constant, like everything childish, remained. Feelings, like beauty, must be seen. Nature has suggested this to us, combining contrasting shades in inflorescences with bright greens of leaves and stems, attracting emotional brightness. Nature itself has formed a bouquet. The jewelers and I repeated the attacks of the flowers, the bends of the leaves protecting and supporting the flowers, and their spread. The delicate, elegant violet is the hero of the secular, spiritual, and ceremonial life of many cultures since the time of the ancient Romans and Greeks. Bouquets of violets were pinned into hair, hats, corsets and dresses were decorated with them, then they were painted on the labels of crystal bottles and perfumes. I add candied violet petals to champagne and sometimes to tea. There is a confirmation of this devotion of mine: the violets embedded in the books from the summer literary programs are with me now. I still react the same way to all violet themes. Images and words are loved by my close friend, born in Russian Voronezh, in beautiful Milan. Among the first, this bouquet created by St. Petersburg jewelers and enamellers will be delivered by the postman to her. As a sign of love devoted to native addresses and names. And that's why I'm going to pin silver violets and wear them solo. On lace, on silk, on rough hand knitting, yes! On the brims of hats, on the knots of bows and on the lapels of business suits. Brooches, like flowers, are signs and symbols of distinction. And the endless pleasure that came from beauty. For more than a hundred years, Russian Gems has been preserving the technologies of the famous St. Petersburg jewelry school and developing innovative methods for making precious masterpieces. Craftsmen create luxurious jewelry, silverware, enamel-filigree products and interior items that distinguish the originality of the author's ideas and an unsurpassed level of performance. In the summer of 2020, my mother left, who accustomed me to potted non-wilting flowers that were transplanted into gardens and lawns. Shortly before her death, symbolically, my first jewelry herbarium of 25 plants saw the light. "Already as a child, I noticed that I was worried about poppy-covered fields. The outright shock of color from the lights of a multitude of abundantly and generously scattered colors was mesmerizing. And there was no brighter color. The wind stirred the petals. The silk flowers spreading from the boxes into the flame excited me. The poppy from the rye fields is one of those flowers that was not given in my children's herbarium. The living inflorescence stopped breathing, the silk of the petals froze in my hand, did not look impressive on the pages of the book and lost its power over my imagination. But the emotions remained. While traveling, I noticed the mythopoeic image of the poppy in many cultures with many symbols and dedications. Poppies in embroidery, in painting, in wreaths, in buttonholes... So the desire to keep this bright color did not leave me. And only jewelers were able to keep nature, make my dream come true and protect my poppy from wilting. The only bright red color in our silver herbarium. The shade was found immediately. The enamel flared up. And our red poppy is impressive. I combine brooches in a silver bouquet on white linen or on black wool with spikelets of cereals, wonderful canary, jewelry timofeevka and sometimes with cornflowers and daisies. According to the season and unforgettable impressions. From the recreated, seen and frankly memorable, different and convincing. The red poppy is beautiful." Another "egoist" who does not tolerate neighbors, an airy color, an elixir of life, a symbol of the power of the sun and light, a flower of loyalty and love, a bright and flying dandelion. Do flying seeds speak about the transience of life? By no means, the jewelers and I have extended the life of the legend, immortalized in silver the life of dandelion wreaths floating on the river or removed from the head. The seeds will not scatter, the wreaths will not wither. Clouds and bad weather are not expected, the delicate yellow petals are open! We share with you the ideas of a sheaf of ears, ears in a bouquet of chamomile, cornflower, timofeevka, bells and a self-sufficient single ear on the lapel of an evening or summer velvet or silk suit. The ear itself is a jeweler's beauty symbol of life, affection and kindness. On a Lavish evening – and not only – it is worth remembering the ears in the corners of the living rooms of the private chambers and boutiques of the great Gabrielle Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent – they sow seeds for wealth. The ears are the most ceremonial images, woven, interwoven and always distinguished by shades of maturity. In my childhood, the golden waves of wheat fields far from the city house replaced the waves of my native sea. My favorite summer fun was to dive into the field and go out with a bouquet of cornflowers from the brazen beauty of the ears. The joys have been restored. In silver and enamel! We decorated the silver ears with filigree. And we even gilded a couple of sheaves!" "Mariannik, Petrovskaya grass, brother-with-sister, and for me Ivan da Marya is my decorative Russian yin and yang, a plant with yellow flowers and neat blue leaves. A birch grove in the light and these gentle lanterns in the forest glades. This plant was difficult to dry and already arrived home from the forest in a basket on top of berries and mushrooms withered. And that's why I included Ivan da Marya in my herbarium. As a sign that the beauty of the plant can be preserved in Russian silver and enamel. These brooches are painted with special love: after all, Ivan da Marya is a symbol of Kupala weddings and a symbol of name days for Mari and Ivanov. In the summer of 2020, my mother left, who accustomed me to potted non-wilting flowers that were transplanted into gardens and lawns. Shortly before her death, symbolically, my first jewelry herbarium of 25 plants saw the light. Black alder is the elder foreign sister of the white birch. I see these curly crowns around the world much more often and always unexpectedly. The name "alder" reminds me of a Varangian or Scandinavian female name. For me, alder was and remains a symbol of the beginning of spring. The thawed areas of the spring school holidays in March were decorated with the first blooming chocolate branches of alder, dropping pollen on the tablecloth. I remember branches clutched in wet mittens. And I'm happy to go home. Into the warmth. The first installations and experiments darkened from white, through orange and then into a brown-chocolate color of wood. These modest bouquets of my childhood consisted of spreading twigs with heavy earrings and cones supporting delicate primroses, anemones or fragrant daffodils of brazen beauty. Snow-covered with ice, wintry at first glance, a symbol-a wish and a sign of the coming spring. We wear brooches in a bouquet. We decorate the silver alder with willow, primroses, white and yellow daffodils from my herbarium. We attach it to the left shoulder or lapel. According to the season. And at the call of my heart. Snowy white galanthus from the Amaryllis family, "snow earring", "drop", "snow bell" – this bold and delicate flower in most cultures is considered a symbol of protection, perseverance, hope and rebirth to a new life. It was traditionally planted at the entrance to the house, in urban apartments it was grown on window sills as a talisman. Fearless and fragile, it opens up again, even covered in ice. The snowdrop is listed in the "Red Book", and our silver symbol of life will never wither. I will wear my snowdrops in a bouquet with a branch of black alder with earrings and, of course, with a willow. And I involuntarily continue to compare Asian and American orchids with the "boots of the Virgin", with my favorite shoes, kukushkin's or Mary's.  And the fact that, according to legend, Venus hid from her pursuers in the northern forests is especially pleasant to me. I prefer the summer north to the south, too. I admit, this bright flower does not remind me of shoes. I see butterfly wings. The first herbaceous orchid in my herbarium is both a tribute and another gesture in favor of nature conservation.  This flower is listed not only in the Red Books of all European countries, but also in the international Book of Nature Conservation. Graceful plants live up to 100 years. And may our silver blossoms preserve the lives of unique creatures. Silver Nasturtium brooch from the Tatiana Polyakova Herbarium collection Silver Nasturtium brooch from the Tatiana Polyakova Herbarium collection Since those distant years, traveling vigorously and living in different parts of the world, spinning the globe in the hope of finding, like Nabokov, my daisies and Rachmaninov, my lilacs, I have been looking for jewelers who could make my dreams and childhood discoveries come true in precious metal. Capuchins, butterflowers, nasturtiums, inflorescences - gramophones in five bright petals in a funnel-shaped tube. These fiery happy decorations of front gardens, window sills, balconies, gardens and most often vegetable gardens. They are resistant both in the sun and in the rain, and in the days of late autumn, after the season when the cottages are empty and the harvest is harvested... like proud guards.   Self-sufficient nasturtiums are rarely included in bouquets: if you pick them, the garden will be empty. The light will go out.   Nasturtiums are given by a person who is genuinely happy about your success. The perfect shade for the winners. In small and large life and personal achievements. Our nasturtiums in 925 sterling silver and enamel will not fade or wither. Self-contained, one on the chest or hat. Or three in a bouquet. According to the will and character of the enameler, each brooch has its own character. For more than a hundred years, Russian Gems has been preserving the technologies of the famous St. Petersburg jewelry school and developing innovative methods for making precious masterpieces. A modest bouquet of several of my favorite pansies was given to me on graduation day at the university. The magic is that these proud tricolor creatures are Lyubov Fedorovna Kooteneva's favorite flower. And it is this brooch that we gratefully dedicate to the Honored Master of Russian Gems, a sensitive like-minded person with a big heart. Here is such a floral and heartfelt interweaving of herbariums of lives. The pansies are modestly tricolor. There are enough colors for all the brooches. The brooches "Palace Tulip" - yellow with a red flame and "Elaginsky tulip" - red with yellow feathers - I wear in a pair, next to a sprawling bouquet also with silver yellow daffodils, and the brooch "Elagin" - a miniature red flower - on the lapel. One bud or a bouquet of several bright inflorescences. I'll tell you a secret: brooches for me are badges, insignia. This jewelry herbarium has become for me an extension of my modest children's collection. I did not become a falerist. The owner of non-fading inflorescences - yes! And a very personal memory. I will be happy to pin it on the lapel or on the ribbon of the hat. In contrast to a black or chalk stripe, or a tweed cage. Or for evening lace? Right on the frill! By no means, the jewelers and I have extended the life of the legend, immortalized in silver the life of dandelion wreaths floating on the river or removed from the head. I was probably busy sticking petals on my nails. My cousin and I used to play with dolls with mandatory manicures. The most important thing is ECO. From the material of the forest geranium of the protected and most picturesque places. The most beautiful, like everything that happens and happens in childhood. I remembered the manicure tradition at a rest stop in the mountains of Iran. The frame flew all over the Internet. In St. Petersburg, I spent a long time drawing a thin twig for my "Herbarium". According to beliefs, apricot flowers symbolize love. We have so carefully drawn and shaded each one, peeping at these humble creatures in nature. And there are twigs - symbols of fortitude and love of mature people. About love and respect, about wishes for long and beautiful years of life. Without being embarrassed. From the heart. Persistently. Gently. Each brooch decorates and looks away. Apricot protects and occupies a special place in my now adult herbarium. A sign of devotion and affection. A sincere symbol. Bright lupin candles are most common to me: in Africa, in Japan, in the Cordillera, in the Alps, and in the Russian North in Karelia... And exactly in Altai and Siberia. They are definitely not selfish, always in families and packs of their own kind. Waves of shades in roadside landscapes. Decoration of nature. As a child, I knew nothing about the beliefs associated with lupin beans in monetary matters, about their use as protective charms or a symbol of attractiveness and health. I just loved to be photographed next to each other and compete with these inflorescences. I trusted them. I knew about their deep root system. That's probably why I always single them out with my eyes. The invitation to the lapel or to the thick knitwear took place. She herself has already tried on grams of silver for a summer hat. Cyclamen accompanied birthdays, both mine in December and my mother's in January. Lush and bold, bright hats in baskets and bouquets of 3-5 stems in monochrome Baltic ceramics.   Since then, the cities of the world have been divided into those with cyclamen and those without them.  In Tokyo, Milan, in the Moscow Central Department Store, in Monaco, in San Moritz ... checked, there is. This year, cyclamen disbanded in the workshops on Karl Faberge Square in beloved St. Petersburg. I'll put a cyclamen on my hat at the Cairo Opera. I saw lilacs from the garden, Rachmaninoff and Nagibinsky, in the curtains and vases on the window sills of open five-wall windows or on a wooden table in front of the house with three windows, at the porch, at the gate, in the front garden. And even then, when life in the estate ended, the fence fell down, the houses were empty and the front garden was overgrown with grass as tall as a man, lilac bushes were blooming gratefully, clusters, like a memory, swayed majestically and covered the empty eye sockets of fallen windows and torn frames. I can hear the piano... I forget to look for a lucky five-leaf...".   Silver brooch "Thistle" of the collection "Herbarium of Tatyana Polyakova" Silver brooch "Thistle" of the collection "Herbarium of Tatyana Polyakova" Since those distant years, vigorously traveling and living in different parts of the world, spinning the globe in the hope of finding, like Nabokov, my daisies and Rachmaninov, my lilacs, I have been looking for jewelers who could bring my dreams and childhood discoveries to life in precious metal. Another "egoist" brooch on the lapel of men's and women's suits or on knitwear, and why not as an amulet and amulet on curtains or a vase on the windowsill? After all, thistles are a commotion for devils. But it also has other names: dedovnik, mordovnik, burdock, tatarnik, prickly. Not terrible at all, but beautiful, not a weed, but the material for one of the most beloved varieties of honey. Like an iris, a violet, a fern, a potbelly, this my favorite prickly egoist has always served as an ornament to my children's herbarium. Not fitting between the pages of the book, it deserved special attention and design during drying. The two-meter-tall field giants fascinated me. The main question was at what time of the day to cut this prickly treasure: in the afternoon, when the thorns spread apart or in cloudy weather, or early in the morning, when the thorns are pressed? And so the jewelers and I answered this question! But I believed in the belief that a daisy grew where a star fell. Daisies are starry flowers for me. A distinctive sign. I remember my first wreath. This was the crown of childhood. Even now, I determine the onset of summer by the proud, unraveled inflorescences, waiting for the opportunity to stop in the field and touch a delicate petal. I pin a daisy brooch on the silk lapel of my tuxedo. As a sign of the significance of the moment. Not a live gardenia, but my St. Petersburg chamomile. And the topic of conversation appears immediately. I decorate my white men's shirts with chamomile. Men can't afford it, can they? Or is this a hint?" I didn't believe in the legend of the blooming fern. I wasn't looking for him. I was looking for an artist who can draw my emotions, and a jeweler who will filigreely repeat the drawing and color my favorite sheet with layers of enamel. The first fluffy flowers in the December rays of the southern sun, mimosa festivals on the Riviera, Capri and Monaco, a bouquet of mimosa in Paris and in childhood in Leningrad. I remember my first acquaintance forever. I do not believe in the legend that mimosa is able to reveal the cunning of a lady by lowering and squeezing the leaves. On the contrary, mimosa is about the sun and happiness. The brooch branch turned out to be voluminous. And very self-sufficient. I often hang it on scarves and even on curtains. I connect it with yellow and white daffodils."
