Silver sculpture "Lion Cub"

Here is a lion cub — the personification of a carefree childhood and primordial predatory energy. The little heir of the pride is captured in motion: one paw is raised, ears are alert, tail is raised — he is exploring the world with interest. The surface of the body and mane imitates the texture of natural wool in the technique of "wool" and casting — this creates the illusion that the animal is about to move. The shades of silver range from light matte to dark oxidized, which gives the image additional expressiveness and depth.
