Travels in Europe and the author's interest in heraldry are reflected in the composition "The Lion King".
Since ancient times, the lion has been proclaimed the king of beasts and since then has repeatedly appeared in the depiction of coats of arms and insignia of monarchical symbols. The lion is a symbol of strength, power, nobility, justice and wisdom.
The lion, crowned with a crown, embodying the ideals of chivalry, is depicted in a moment of noble anger. Rushing at the enemy, he clutches a double-edged sword with one paw, and protects the family coat of arms with the other, clad in armor. The unintentional glint of precious stones gives the composition a special charm. The sculptor paid close attention to the careful study and elaboration of the anatomy, silhouette and proportions, chasing, grinding and tinting of bronze. Currently, the author's cabinet sculpture rightfully occupies its important place in the modern refined luxury interior.
