Chess made of red onyx and marble "European"

This is the heaviest set of chess pieces in the category of compact in our assortment. Its weight consists of the weightiness of the stone from which the figures and the playing field are made, and the weight of the precious mahogany, the array of which is used in the manufacture of the board itself and the salary of the playing field. At the same time, this chess is very convenient to play. The characteristics of this set fully meet the needs of fans of this ancient game:

The figures are hand-carved from stone. This determines not only the rather large weight of each figure, but also their individuality. No figure can be exactly like another one-there will definitely be a difference. The "white" ones are made of botticina marble, and the "dark" ones are made of red onyx. The height of the king in this set is 3.10 inches (about 8 cm).

The board is made of solid mahogany. The board size is 34*34 cm

The field is made up of alternately arranged squares of marble "boticina" and red onyx on a stone substrate. The production of each field is carried out manually.

The alphanumeric and numeric indexing of cells is applied along the edge of the field.

Inside the board there is a padded compartment for each piece.
