Only a real surrealist could come up with the idea of colliding the phenomena of the depths of the human subconscious on one chessboard. The white figures represent the bright beginning inherent in each of us. Take a closer look at these smooth shapes… In them, you can easily see the familiar outlines of the heroes of good fairy tales from our distant childhood, which the artist looked at through the prism of surreal fantasy. Rooks – fabulous cozy houses – seem to frame them, bringing peace and tranquility. The black party was decided in a more abrupt and even aggressive manner. These are mystical chimeras, as if they came down from the roof of Notre Dame Cathedral. He himself, the dwelling of the gloomy Quasimodo, became a black rook in the set. The dark figures seemed to merge all the evil and terrible things that nestle in the depths of the soul of each of us. The eternal confrontation of two principles, tearing apart the soul of every person, is now represented on the chessboard.

The set board is also unusual. It is solved in the spirit of the works of the immortal masters of the avant–garde - K. Malevich and P. Mondrian. and enhances the innovative creativity of this set.
